We’re headed to Norway for our first time in 2024. We’ll visit the world-class granite boulders on the islands of Lofoten.
The Lofoten Archipelago is a cluster of islands in northern Norway. It is roughly 100 miles north of the arctic circle. For climbing, bouldering is a relatively new experience here, although the thousands of boulders spread out across the islands have been waiting for climbers for eons. There’s an incredibly high concentration in the V3-V8 (6a-7b). Athletes in this program will have the opportunity to climb 100s of boulders during the trip.

Dates: July 16 - August 2, 2024
Ages: 14-18 (or with approval)
Performance focus: bouldering - mostly in the 6-7 range (V4-8)
Additional activities: beach going, sight seeing, hiking
Minimum ability: V6/7a gym grades and V4/6c rock grades
Trip price: $4950 - includes $500 deposit
